At Purlicue Pinch®, a hat is never just an accessory. It’s a chance to show a little personality, tell a story, and wear something that feels entirely your own.

Purlicue Pinch is a mother-daughter partnership. Together, we design distinctive hats one at a time, pairing western roots with bohemian spirit, unexpected details, and a little rock ’n’ roll. We love giving vintage materials new life, incorporating pieces with history and character alongside hand-burned designs and finishing touches. No two hats turn out quite alike—and sometimes the right hat seems to find its person.

Our Hat Bar takes that creativity a step further. With our guidance, you can choose a hat and make it your own. We currently bring the experience to private parties and events, and we’re excited to welcome guests to an in-store Hat Bar when our new downtown Memphis boutique opens. We also offer custom hat design and professional steam shaping.

Coming soon to 109 Madison Avenue, our storefront will bring together our hats and Hat Bar with a curated mix of clothing, jewelry, accessories, and unexpected finds. Until then, you can shop available hats online and find us at events throughout the Mid-South.
